About Esbjerg International School

Reasons to Join EIS

There are several reasons to register your child at Esbjerg International School.  These include:

1. Our multicultural learning environment prepares students to work successfully with people from a variety of cultures.

2. Our international assessment standards provide students feedback on strengths and areas needing further support in relation to what is expected of a student at a given age.

3. Our international curriculum is designed to ensure students learn the skills and knowledge necessary for future opportunities.

4. Our teachers create authentic learning opportunities for students to apply what they have learned in original ways.

5. Learning is target based.

6. Small class sizes.

7. Non-English speakers are welcome.  All of our teachers are 'English' teachers no matter what subject it is they teach.  Our students learn to speak English in an impressive amount of time!

8. Our students become multilingual.  Studying Danish is a requirement at EIS- German and Spanish are also offered as First and Additional Languages.

9. Teachers are committed to responsive communication with parents.

10. After finishing Year 11 at EIS, our students can continue their schooling at a Danish Gymnasium.  Otherwise, our students are well-prepared to join other international schools whether or not it is a Cambridge, IBO, AP or national English-speaking public school
