Primary
Primary classes start in Year 1 when students are typically five years old and end in Year 6 when students are usually 10. The Primary programme at EIS is developed from the Cambridge International Curriculum as well as the International Primary Curriculum. The Primary school education at EIS carries four key strengths:

It provides an excellent foundation for secondary education in terms of a student’s academic and social skills.

It presents an external benchmark that gives students, parents and teachers a clear and regular measure of a student’s key strengths in detail, as well as an indication of areas in need of specific improvement.

There is an international focus in learning with students becoming familiar with aspects of many countries, including their own and their host country.

The learning opportunities we offer our students are flexible and differentiated. Students are challenged according to their individual abilities and are given a variety of activities in which they can demonstrate their skills.
