Students at Esbjerg International School

Students from over 35 different countries have attended EIS since its opening in August 2008. The average class size is 17 students. As a result, students get significant amounts of academic support. The academic programme at EIS for Primary students includes: English, Mathematics, Science, Art, Information & Communication Technologies, Music, Physical Education, First and Additional Language Danish and choices between First Language German or Additional Language Spanish or English Support.
 
The academic programme at EIS for Secondary students includes: English, Mathematics, Integrated Sciences, Art & Design, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information & Communication Technologies, Music, Physical Education, First and Additional Language German, History, Geography, First and Additional Language Danish and choices between Additional Language Spanish or English Support.

Esbjerg International School aims to provide a learning environment where emotional growth and reflection are valued and nurtured through classroom lessons, teambuilding activities, and support from all parts of our school community. To assist in this aim, students participate in a Student Wellness Survey each year. Student responses are reviewed to guide future steps to enhance the quality of our students' well-being at EIS.
